Minox unveils its new Digital Camera module that will let you shoot the picture far away. The Digital Camera Module (DCM) is designed to fit to a spotting scopes eyepiece bayonet. The DCM system has a magnification of 40x.
The Minox DCM measures 2 5/8-inch x 2 1/4-inch x 2 3/4-inch and integrates a 2 3/8-inch LCD into the package. The LCD is used as the viewfinder for the camera and for viewing the images after they are taken. Five different bayonet fittings are available providing compatibility with scopes from Zeiss, Leica, Swarvski, Kowa, and Minox. The DCM module is priced at $399.
